A credit note is a document that indicates a return of funds due to product returns, cancellations, or invoice errors. Credit notes are issued when an invoice amendment is created through a refund request or direct amendment.
Enable the credit notes setting
- Log into the Operator portal.
- Go to Configuration > Finance Settings.
- Check the Enable credit notes box.
- Click Submit.
Note: After credit notes are enabled, invoice amendments will generate credit notes, and the amendment details will no longer be added to the invoice PDF.
Hide or show Operator information on seller credit notes
If the credit notes setting is enabled, you can choose to hide Operator information on seller credit notes.
- Log into the Operator portal.
- Go to Configuration > Seller Settings.
- Check the Hide operator information on seller credit notes box.
- Click Submit.
