The bulk upload template simplifies the process of preparing product data for upload. Designed to handle large inventories, it reduces the effort of repetitive data entry while ensuring accuracy. System-generated based on the operator’s pre-defined product categories, the template includes pre-filled details and dropdown options that make it easy to navigate and complete.
The spreadsheet has four key sections:
- Usage Guide sheet: Offers instructions on how to use the file. It also includes a "table of contents" listing all the dynamically generated category sheets.
- Missing Category sheet: Allows you to assign uncategorized products to the correct categories. This step is optional and can be completed now or later.
- Category sheets: Correspond to specific product categories and allow sellers to input details for their products. These sheets allow creating new products and variants or updating existing products. Category sheets are auto-generated, meaning it depends on your existing categories.
- Data sheet: A locked sheet containing reference data for consistent inputs. No action is required here.

Fill out the Missing Category sheet (optional)
Assigning a product to the correct category allows it to be updated and published. Category sheets are automatically generated based on assigned categories and cannot be created manually. If a product appears in the Missing Category sheet, assign it to the correct category before proceeding:
- Go to the Missing Category sheet.
- Assign a Brand using the dropdown in the Brand column.
- Assign a Category using the dropdown in the Category column.
- Save the file.
- Upload the saved file.
Note: After assigning categories to products, reupload this spreadsheet and download a new spreadsheet to ensure the products are moved to the appropriate category sheet.
Modify product details in a category sheet
- Find the product:
- Locate the correct category sheet based on the product category.
- Find the product row using the Ad ID column.
- Edit the necessary fields:
- Update only the fields that need modification.
- Do not change system-generated fields such as the Category number and Category hierarchy.
Note: The Ad ID* column determines whether a product is updated or created.
-
- If a row contains an existing Ad ID, the uploader will update that product’s details.
- If "new" is entered, a new product will be created.
- If "variant" is entered below a new product, it will be recognized as a variant of that product.
- Both "new" and "variant" are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown.
- If a row contains an existing Ad ID, the uploader will update that product’s details.
- Use dropdowns for consistency:
- If modifying fields like Brand or Shipping Profile, select values from the dropdown menus.
- Dropdown values are sourced from the Data sheet for accuracy.
- Manually update other fields:
- Fields without dropdowns (e.g., Product Description, SKU) must be updated manually.
- Ensure all required fields remain filled.
Update product images
- To update product or variant images, replace the URLs in the Image 1* or Variant Image 1 columns.
- Additional images can be updated in Alt Image 2–20 and Variant Image 2–20.
- When updating images, all previous images for that product or variant will be replaced. Partial updates are not supported.
Upload the updated template
- Return to Products > Bulk Upload Products.
- Click Upload File and select the updated Excel file.
- Wait for the system to validate the upload.
