You can bulk import products into a marketplace through the seller portal, which is useful when adding products for the first time or adding variants to existing ones.
To avoid errors, we recommended that the marketplace owner assist you with the initial import. If you are updating your product list, see Edit products (adverts) in bulk as a seller.
Note: If you manage products through an integration like Shopify or WooCommerce, do not use this method to add products or variants. Missing unique product IDs will prevent order syncing with your platform.
To add products in bulk in the Seller Portal
- Log in to the Seller Portal.
- Navigate to Products > Bulk Upload Products.
- In the Download a spreadsheet section, select the file format between XLSX or CSV.
Note: Using CSV may corrupt special characters in the title, description, or other details. We recommend you use XLSX. - Update the spreadsheet with the products you want to add. If you are unfamiliar with the bulk upload spreadsheet, see About the bulk product upload spreadsheet.
- Go back to the Bulk Upload Products page in the Seller Portal.
- Click Upload spreadsheet and select the file you updated. Ensure your entries align with the product structure (taxonomy) set by the marketplace owner in Marketplacer.
-
Choose whether to override existing product data:
-
If you are adding new products, do not select the checkbox that removes existing products and variants.
-
To manage all your products and replace all data, select the option to remove all existing product and variant data.
-
- Click Upload.
- To monitor the status and check if there are import errors, scroll down to the Recent Import History section.
Note: If errors occur, you can fix them directly in the product list or edit the spreadsheet and re-upload. See Troubleshooting bulk product uploads.
