This article explains how to set up the BigCommerce integration in Marketplacer. It covers how to create API credentials in BigCommerce and connect your store through MConnect so products and orders can sync automatically between both platforms.
Configure connection settings in BigCommerce
To connect BigCommerce and Marketplacer, follow these steps in your BigCommerce Admin:
- In the BigCommerce menu, go to Settings › Store-level API Tokens.
- Click + Create API Account.
- Under Token Type, choose Create V2/V3 API Token.
- Enter a Name for the API account. Example: www.marketplacer.com (for your reference only.
- Configure the OAuth Scopes as follows:
API Resource Access Level Content Read-Only Checkout Content Modify Customers Modify Customers Login Login Information & Settings Read-Only Marketing None Orders Modify Order Transactions None Create Payments Create Get Payment Methods Read-Only Stored Payment Instruments Modify Products Read-Only Themes Read-Only Carts Modify Checkouts Modify Sites & Routes Modify Channel Settings Modify Channel Listings Modify Storefront API Tokens Manage Storefront API Customer Impersonation Tokens None Note: If you want orders to create or be assigned to existing customers in BigCommerce, you must set the Customers scope to Modify as well. Otherwise, all orders are created as guest orders. -
Make a note of the API Path displayed. You will need this for your Marketplacer integration setup.
- Click Save.
- When you click Save, a .txt file automatically downloads to your computer (example:
BigCommerceAPI-credentials-xxxx.txt). This file contains all the necessary information required to enter into Marketplacer. Your BigCommerce setup is now complete.
Configure connection settings in Marketplacer

Sign in to the Seller portal.

Go to Extensions > MConnect.

Select the BigCommerce tile from the list of e-commerce platforms to open the connection setup.

Enter your Store hash, Client ID, and Access token. You can copy and paste these from the .txt file generated by BigCommerce. For example, if your API path is:
then your Store hash is

Review your details, then click Submit to save the connection.
Note: Pre-order products in BigCommerce will not sync to Marketplacer until they are available for purchase and delivery.
