Sellers can duplicate products and variants to quickly create new product listings. This helps speed up catalog management, especially for similar products.
When you duplicate products:
- Core product details are copied.
- SKUs and barcodes are removed.
- The product is unpublished by default.
- The product name includes “(copy)”
Duplicate a Product
- Sign in to Seller Portal 2.0.
- Go to Products > Manage Products.
- Find the product you want to duplicate.
- Click the three dots on the far right of the product row.
- Select Duplicate product.
- Before duplicating, a message will confirm that:
- Product details (title, category, pricing, media, variants) will be copied.
- Inventory, SKU, and barcode will be cleared.
- The duplicate will not be published.
- Click Duplicate to proceed.
- Once duplicated, the product panel opens so you can edit the details. The Product name will include “(copy)” by default, but you can change it.
Duplicate variants
When you duplicate a product with variants, its variants are automatically copied to the duplicated product. These can still be edited as needed. Sellers can also choose to duplicate individual variants for further customization.
To duplicate a variant:
- Go to the Variants tab of the duplicated product.
- Click the three dots next to the variant you want to duplicate.
- Select Duplicate Variant.
- A confirmation message will appear. Before duplicating, a message will confirm that:
- The same variant information (price, images, etc.) will be copied.
- Inventory, SKU, and barcode will be removed.
- The copy will not be published.Important: Update the variant options immediately to avoid identical variants and prevent the parent product from going offline.
- Click Duplicate to proceed.
- The Edit Variant panel will open.
Make your changes, then click Save variant.
Note: If required in your marketplace, the variant will go through vetting before it can go live.
