On Site Tracking
This tracks behaviour on your buyer front and, and is only available via Marketplacers full stack front end, in future it will be come available on our new front end pages as well. It includes, Active on site, Viewed product, Add to cart and Checkout
It is important to note that in order to collect and store events your shoppers will need to be either logged in, have entered their email address prior to checkout or come to your site via a Klaviyo generated email. This means the more you engage your audience, the better data you will be able to track and generate and in turn the better your automation will become.
Below are a list an example of the events that are logged in Klaviyo as part of the On Site Tracking function
Active on site : This tracks if when a shopper is on site and what means they used to get there, this triggers once per day per shopper, unless they log in from multiple devices, in which case it can log multiple times.
Viewed product : This will show all the products a shopper browsed on their journey.
Added to cart : if a shopper adds an item to the cart, either via the /s/, /a/ /shop and /promo pages the details of that product are logged.
Checkout : This signifies that a user has navigated to the cart and to the checkout screen, it does not mean this order was completed, for that event refer to Placed Order
