This article is for Marketplacer customers who use Adobe Commerce (Magento) as their e-commerce platform. If you are a seller who uses Adobe Magento to provide products to Marketplacer customers, see Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) for Sellers.
When you install the Marketplacer extension and sync for the first time, the seller entity and brand entity are added to Adobe Commerce, and seller/brand details and settings become accessible.
To add seller and brand pages to your website. This enables shoppers to view products by seller or brand.
Creating seller pages
With seller details synced to Adobe Commerce, seller pages can be created for use on your website. This enables customers to select a seller and view a list of all their products. Your implementation partner can help customize the page to show only the details you want.
Configuring sellers in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)
There are some settings for sellers available in Adobe Commerce.
- In Adobe Commerce, go to Stores > Configuration > Marketplacer > Seller.

To exclude the seller information on your storefront display, select No in the Enable Sellers Feature field.
If you display sellers on your storefront, first-party products sold by you (and not Marketplacer sellers) appear as General Seller. To change the name ‘general seller’ to something else, do this in the Marketplacer seller list.

To allow admins to edit sellers, select Yes in the Allow edit by admin field.
Create brand pages
With brand details synced to Adobe Commerce, brand pages can be created for use on your website. So when a customer clicks on a brand it takes them to a brand page that lists all the products under that brand.
Brand Settings in Adobe Commerce
There are some settings for brands available in Adobe Commerce.
- To exclude the brand information on your storefront display, select No in the Enable Brand Feature field.
- To allow admins to edit brands, select Yes in the Allow edit by admin field.
Except for these settings, all changes to brand data should be made in Marketplacer and not in Adobe Commerce.
