Do not confuse this to the Sendgrid Integration for your email marketing, this is entirely different.
What is white labelling?
Sendgrid Whitelabels ensure that the emails sent through the platform, arrive in the your inbox, rather than your junk folder. These emails are things like invoices, reset password emails, enquiry emails, or any transactional email (and many more).
How do I configure this?
The whitelabels will need to be added to your domain provider (e.g. Go Daddy, Crazy Domains, etc). Each different provider should have instructions of how you can do this.
To find the whitelabels within the Marketplacer platform, go to:
Configuration > Sendgrid Whitelabel Domains
Domain Name: This is the domain you will be sending Marketplacer-generated emails from. In most cases, it's the domain you'll be going live with.
Custom dkim selector: This field is optional. It is used if you need to authenticate a single domain multiple times. (For example, if also using Sendgrid for marketing.) You can enter up to 3 lower case characters to differentiate the Marketplace whitelabels.
After hitting save, you'll be presented with this screen:
These are the CNAME records to be added to your domain provider. Doing so, will whitelist all Sendgrid emails generated by the Marketplacer platform.
How do I know if it has worked?
After you've added the CNAME records to your domain provider, come back to Configuration > Sendgrid Whitelabel Domains. Your domain will be listed under 'Existing Domains' and should read Verified? TRUE.
