The Operator welcome screen provides quick access to essential information and tasks, helping Operators manage their activities. The screen highlights important tasks, shows key performance metrics, and provides updates on system status and problem reports.
System status indicator
The system status indicator is prominently displayed in the header of the operator portal. It uses a traffic light system to show the current status of the Marketplacer system:
- Green: Fully operational.
- Yellow: Experiencing some issues.
- Red: Major performance issues.
This indicator is visible on every page within the operator portal, which lets Operators constantly monitor the system performance.
Awaiting action section
Task notifications that require the Operator’s attention are under the Awaiting action section.
- Products to review: Items awaiting vetting.
- Items not dispatched: Orders that have yet to be sent out.
- New chat messages: Unread messages from customers or team members.
- Payouts to approve: Pending seller payout approvals.

Refund requests: Refunds needing action. Note that the total number displayed in the Refund request section includes all refund requests in these statuses:

Each task has a count and a Review now button for quick access.
Yesterday’s trading section
This section is a snapshot of the sales performance of the previous day. This section includes:
- Number of Orders
- Number of Invoices
- Average Order Value
- Total Sales
- Total Commission
Operators can click the View full performance insights button for more detailed performance information.
Problem reports section
Ongoing problem reports are highlighted on the main welcome screen, allowing operators to identify and address issues quickly. Each report includes:
- A brief description of the issue.
- A Details button linking to more information.
- A Failures link for deeper insights.
Click the View problem reports button to go to Reporting > Problem Reports.
