Notes:
- There are currently two versions of the remittance advice summary report.
- These instructions apply if the marketplace uses implementation 2.0 of remittance processing.
- If your menu structure does not match the instructions below, follow the instructions in View remittance advice summary as an operator (original implementation).
The remittance report gives you visibility into processed and unprocessed remittances across your marketplace. This article explains how to view, filter, and export your remittance data.
Processed remittances
Processed remittances have passed all internal checks and are due for payment. Remittance processing runs nightly — operators receive an email detailing the payments due and any errors that occurred.
Each remittance record includes:
- Advice ID
- Advice date
- Advice amount: The net amount being paid, less mechant fees and commissions.
You can update payment dates, payment amounts, payment IDs, and upload attachments if required.
Unprocessed remittances
Unprocessed remittances are invoices and amendments that have not yet passed all required checks to be included in a remittance advice. They give you an indication of future payments.
Common reasons a remittance may be unprocessed:
- The remittance amount must be a positive number. If refunds outweigh sales, a remittance advice is not created until the total is positive.
- There may be a delay between completing an order and generating a remittance.
Remittance payments
Depending on how remittances are configured in your marketplace, the release of funds occurs automatically, manually, or on a schedule. If a scheduled payout fails, the system automatically retries.
Note: Marketplacer does not participate in the transfer of funds. Payments are actioned by you based on your own business practices.
