Shopify Plus integration prerequisites

This article explains the requirements before you set up Shopify Plus. 

Preparation checklist

Prepare the following before setting up the Shopify Plus:

• Valid production and staging Marketplacer environments.
• Full admin access to the production and staging Marketplacer environments.
• Marketplacer API Key and basic HTTP authorization. For detailed instructions, see Configure your Marketplacer account.
• Shopify Plus Store admin access.
• Shopify Plus Store URL and API token.
  
  Note: The Marketplacer Accelerator (Cerberus) is incompatible with a standard Shopify store.

Recommendation

We recommend that you consult and seek help from a System Integrator (SI) or Technical Partner to set up and enable the connection.

Custom store

The Marketplacer Accelerator is compatible with Shopify Plus and does not interact with any other Shopify Plus App or Custom Apps that might be used. We recommend you work with a Shopify Plus Certified Developer or SI/Technical Partner to validate your existing step up.

Considerations when onboarding

We recommended the Operator to work with an SI or Technical Partner to consider solutions for the following:

• Payment provider for Shopify Plus storefront.
• Where they want/are going to ship?
• What other apps are they using/planning to use?
• Have you received appropriate guidance on how to set up taxes for the Marketplace? This could include being registered appropriately in the states they will operate and sell. Some information for US nexus.
• What your seller returns, refunds and cancellations process will be?
