You must first check the requirements listed in Shopify Plus prerequisites before setting up your Shopify Plus instance.
Set up the integration in Marketplacer
- Update Marketplacer API on Marketplacer Accelerator (Cerberus).
- In Cerberus, specify the API key generated on the Marketplacer Configuration page.
- Complete the rest of the Marketplacer configuration on Cerberus.
- URL: Marketplacer domain (The domain must start with “https:” and must not end with “/”)
- Basic Authentication Username and Basic Authentication Password: We will provide them if the site uses basic authentication
- Enable Connection: Enable the connection.
- Save the configuration.
- In the Marketplacer section, click Actions.
- Click Synchronize webhook configurations.
- To confirm that all webhooks configurations have been synced to Marketplacer, go to Marketplacer vertical, and select CONFIGURATION > Webhooks.
Set up the integration in Shopify Plus
- Sign in to Shopify.
- From the menu on the left-hand side, click Apps.
- On the Apps page, click Develop apps for your store link.
- Click Allow custom app development.
- Click Create App.
- In the Create an app, specify Connected in the App name field.
- Click Create app.
- Click Configuration and give the App "Read And Write" access to the following scopes:
- Assigned fulfillment orders: The app uses fulfillment service orders to manage sellers on Shopify and Marketplacer.
- Files: for uploading and attaching documents to products.
- Fulfillment services: These are used to manage individual sellers on Marketplacer.
- Inventory: Inventory updates for items sold by Marketplacer sellers.
- Merchant-managed fulfillment Orders: The app must have access to Orders to create related fulfillment.
- Products: General management of seller Adverts from Marketplacer.
- Orders: These are for retrieving and updating orders when necessary.
- Shipping: For applying and calculating shipping rates.
- Third-party fulfillment orders: This is used to handle fulfillment orders and refunds.
- Click the API Credentials tab and click Install app.
- Click OK to install the app into the store.
- Copy the credentials. For integrating with the Connected app, you must have the following:
- Admin API access token: This is used to authorize requests to Shopify from the Connected app.
- API secret key: This is used to authenticate requests from Shopify to the Connected app.
Configure Shopify Plus in Cerberus
Now that you have your credentials, you can enter them in Cerberus. If Cerberus is enabled for your account, you can access it by selecting the Connected Platform button in your Operator Portal.
Notes: You need a unique link from Marketplacer to log in to the Cerberus platform.
To configure Shopify Plus, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Operator Portal.
- Click Connected. The Cerberus Platform opens.
- Click Configuration under the Shopify menu.
- Specify a value for these fields:
- Shopify Store URL: Enter your Shopify store URL, excluding the HTTPS / www and any trailing slashes.
- App Shared Secret: The API secret key from Shopify.
- App Password: The Admin API access token from Shopify.
- Enable connection: Ensure that the connection is enabled.
- Automatically Publish Products: Switch this toggle if you want to automatically publish products to your ‘Online Store’ sales channel in Shopify.
- Click Save.
