The Search Adverts page in the Operator portal lets marketplace operators search, filter, and manage adverts/products. From this page, you can review details, apply filters, and take actions such as editing, changing categories, or deleting adverts.
How to access the Search Adverts page
- Sign in to the Operator portal.
- Go to ADVERTS > Search Adverts.
When you land on the page, you will see the search results sorted by most recent to help you quickly find the latest listings.
How search works
The Advert Title search bar supports two search modes:
- Predictive search: Start typing and results appear immediately as letters match. You do not need to type the full word. Typing pick returns Pick, Pickle, Pickled, and any other title beginning with those letters.
- Exact search: Wrap your term in quotes to match only that specific word. Typing "pick" returns results containing only the word pick, excluding titles like Pickle or Pickles.
Filters
You can refine your search by either entering or selecting values or using checkboxes:
Enter or select values for these fields:
- Advert Title
- Category
- Brand
- Seller
- Advert IDs
- Variant IDs
- Variant SKUs
- Variant Barcodes
- Created Since / Created Until
- Updated Since / Updated Until
- Year
- External ID
- Stock Status
- Status
Use checkboxes for to filter products:
- With Failed Catalog Rules?
- Requires Vetting?
- Previously Rejected?
Click Search to apply filters or Reset Filters to clear them. You can also export your filtered results by selecting Export.
Search results table
The search results display in a table with the following columns:
- Image
- ID
- Product Name
- Brand
- Retailer
- Category
- Price
- Actions (⋮)
View advert details
When reviewing adverts in the search results, you can view more information without leaving the page:
- Image preview: Click an advert image to open a larger preview of the product. This helps you verify product visuals without opening the full advert.
- Advert details drawer: Click the product name to open a read-only drawer that displays key advert details at a glance. This makes it easier to review or confirm advert information without switching to the Seller portal.
Actions on individual adverts
From the Actions (⋮) menu beside a product, you can:
- Edit as seller: Open the advert as if you were the seller.
- Change category: Assign the advert to a different category.
- Delete: Permanently remove the advert.
Manage Data dropdown
On the Search Adverts page, you can access the Manage Data dropdown in the top-right corner to these perform bulk actions:
- Bulk import: Upload multiple adverts at once via spreadsheet.
- View previous exports: Access and download past export files.
- Bulk delete via spreadsheet: Remove multiple adverts by uploading a deletion file.
This page is available in the Operator portal within the admin and is designed for operators managing adverts/products across the marketplace.
