When a seller is set up on the Marketplacer Platform, there is a variety of information that needs to be input into both the Operator Portal and the Seller Portal. Whether you input this information manually or by CSV, below is a list of the information that will be required to be uploaded. All information entered into the Admin Site will need to be completed by the operator.
Seller Portal information can be entered by either operator or seller, depending on preference and desired seller autonomy.

Operator Portal
- Business Name: This is how the business will be identified both on the admin site and the seller portal.
- Legal Business Name: This is the business's legal name, for example "Sample Business, LLC" instead of just "Sample Business".
- EIN/ABN/Other Identification Number: This is the company identification number. For example, an EIN is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS for tax purposes.
- Company Logo: The company logo will be shown on all the seller's listings, and should adhere to any branding/size requirements of the marketplace.
- First & Last Name: The name of the primary contact for the account.
- Business Address: This is the primary business address for the seller, or the primary address that items should be returned to.
- Users Email Address: This is the email address of the main person who will be logging in to manage the seller account. We will send things like password resets here. To facilitate the use of single sign on, this email address must be unique on the marketplace.
- Email: This email address typically starts with "info" or "orders", such as "info@samplebusiness.com". This is the email address that will populate on all customer orders, and customers will be able to contact this email. Retailers with multiple seller accounts can use a single business email address across those seller accounts.
- Email CC: This email is a secondary will also be cc'd on all customer orders, such as "accounts@samplebusiness.com".
- Phone Number: This phone number should be the primary business phone for the seller.
- Mobile Number: If the seller would like to be able to receive SMS notifications for each successful order, it will require a mobile phone number.
- Username: This username will be used for the main contact with access to the seller portal to log in.
- Account Name: This is the name of the seller's bank account that money will be remitted to.
- BSB/Swift Code: This is the SWIFT code for the financial institution for the seller's account.
- Account Number: This is the account number for the seller's bank account that money will be remitted to.
Seller Portal
- Store Description: This is the description of the seller's store that will show on their seller landing page.
- Storefront Images: These are the images of the store that the seller would like to showcase on their seller landing page.
- Opening Hours: These are the hours of the seller's physical store and will be shown on the seller landing page.
- Store Video: This is a link to a video about the store, and can be a YouTube URL.
- Shipping & Delivery Policy: This is the seller's shipping and delivery policy that will be present on all listings. This will override the marketplace-wide shipping and delivery policy, so please communicate with your sellers in advance if there is one overarching policy.
- Buy Online & Pick Up In-Store Policy: This is the seller's policy for customers purchasing their products online and picking them up in the physical store.
- Customer Service Policy: This is the seller's policy for customer service and how they can be contacted.
- Exchange Policy: This is the seller's exchange policy. Please communicate in advance to your sellers if you will have overarching rules around returns/exchanges.
- Third Party Platform API Key: If the seller has an account with a third-party platform that is serviced through MConnect, that key will be needed to set up the integration. Note that this is not needed if the customer is setting up the integration themselves.
- Third Party Platform Password: If the seller has an account with a third-party platform that is serviced through MConnect, that key will be needed to set up the integration. Note that this is not needed if the seller is setting up the integration themselves.
