Marketplaces that are selling certain therapeutic goods in Australia are legally required to provide customers with specific information related to those products, including warning labels or ingredients of the product.
Marketplacer has added support for detailed product information required by the Therapeautic Goods Administration on the Advert and Variant entities.
These fields are only supported by our Connected Marketplace configuration.

When a products falls into the category of requiring this additional labelling, these fields can be enabled for all variants of an advert.
How do I enable TGA fields for my marketplace?
- As an operator, ensure the following checkbox is enabled by navigating to Configuration > Advert Settings > Enable therapeutic goods labelling.
- Once the above checkbox is enabled, the following fields are available:
- Therapeutic Goods (TGA) Labelling checkbox is displayed on the advert

- Suitable For / Indications

Optional Setting
If the "Therapeutic Goods (TGA) Labelling" checkbox is enabled on the advert, then a mandatory "TGA Warning" field is displayed on the variant.
The fields are also displayed in the bulk advert CSV and are available in the API as per follow:
