As a seller, you can view catalog rules in the Seller Portal. Catalog rules are product requirements that you must meet so your products are displayed in the marketplace.
To view catalog rules:
- Go to Products > Marketplace Catalog Rules.
Alternatively:
- Go to Products > Manage Products.
- Click the information icon beside the "Meet rules?" column heading.
Catalog rules come in two types: hard blocks, which reject listings that fail your marketplace's non-negotiable requirements, and transformations, which automatically clean up listings that pass (for example, fixing casing or removing special characters) so you don't need to resubmit for minor issues. Rules run in a fixed order: hard blocks first, then transformations.
The Marketplace Catalog Rules page shows the first 20 catalog rules of each type. Click More Catalog Rules to display more rules.
