Transformation status and reviewing changes – Marketplacer

After a transformation runs, you can monitor its progress and review the results in the Operator Portal. Each product displays a transformation status so you can see what has been updated, and a Review panel displays the original and transformed values side by side for comparison.

Transformation status

Each product displays one of four statuses while a transformation is in progress or after it completes:

Processing: The transformation is queued or running. Results usually apply within 10–15 minutes, though this is not guaranteed.
Completed: The transformed text has been applied. The product's title or description now reflects the transformation.
Failed: The transformation did not apply. The product keeps its original text and remains unaffected.
Blocked by Catalog Rules: The product has failed catalog rules. The transformation will not run until the catalog rule errors are resolved.

Note: A Failed status does not block or unpublish the product. The original text is always preserved regardless of the outcome.

Transformation status is visible on both the Search Adverts page and the individual product view in the Operator Portal.

Review changes

The Review panel shows the original and transformed values for a product's title and description side by side. Use it to see exactly what has changed.

Operators can access the Review panel as part of the product vetting process in ADVERTS > Product Vetting. The before and after preview showing original and transformed values is available on the vetting page in the Operator Portal.

Note: Outside of the vetting process, only the transformed value is shown once a transformation is complete.

Exports

Transformation status and transformed field values are included in advert exports:

While a transformation is still processing, the export includes the raw field values as they currently stand.
Once a transformation is complete, the transformed values appear on the actual fields in the export.
Transformation status is available as a selectable field in the spreadsheet export.

If you export while one or more transformations are still processing, a modal appears to let you know the export may not reflect the final transformed values. You can choose to proceed with or cancel the export.
