A prototype bundles features and variants that can be reused across categories. This helps standardize product details and makes it easier for sellers to complete listings.
Example: A prototype for Dog Kennels might include:
- Kennel color
- Kennel size
- Kennel material
- Kennel windows

Find option types that aren't listed
If your marketplace has more than 100 option types, only the first 100 are shown in the Advert Option Types and Variant Option Types select boxes. When this applies, a note appears on the prototype page.
To find and add an option type that isn't listed:
- On the prototype page, type the option type name in the filter field (Enter text here to filter option types in select boxes below).
- Open the Advert Option Types or Variant Option Types select box. The matching option type now appears.
- Select the option type.
- Click Save.
