Marketplacer lets sellers use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate product descriptions with a click of a button, using just their product titles and existing product descriptions.
To use this feature, you can ask your operator to enable it. Learn more.
How to generate AI descriptions
AI generates product descriptions using the Product Title and any existing description. If no description is available, it uses the title alone.
- Log in to the seller portal.
- Go to Products > Manage Products.
- Find the product you want to edit and click the View product button.
- In the product window, click the Details tab.
- Select Generate description.
- Click Generate new description In the AI Product Description window.
Note: You can customize product descriptions by entering prompts in the description box, such as 'Generate a friendly-toned description for Nike shorts.' - Check the acknowledgment box.
- Click Accept.
In the product details page, click Save changes.

Marketplacer offers optional features that utilise generative artificial intelligence (genAI) to make Marketplacer’s platform smarter, easier and faster to use.
Any output from such features is generated by artificial intelligence. Marketplacer makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or reliability of output generated by artificial intelligence. Due to the nature of the machine learning and the technology powering genAI, (i) output may not be unique or exclusive to the operator or its users, (ii) the same or similar input may yield differing output, and (iii) output does not represent Marketplacer’s recommendations or views.
Operators are responsible for use of any output generated using genAI, including for ensuring such output has had an appropriate level of human review prior to use. Use of any output obtained through the use of any genAI feature is at the operator’s sole risk.
When using genAI, operators must not (and must not permit anyone else to): (i) provide input that either violates third party rights or law or is intended, or would reasonably be expected, to generate output that does so; (ii) provide input that includes personal data; or (iii) use output in a manner that the operator knows, or reasonably should know, violates third party rights or applicable laws.
