If your integration settings are not correctly setup, you may find that orders pushed to the Maropost Commerce Cloud store have duplicated GST amounts. To resolve this, follow the listed steps below.
- Log in to a retailer's account and access the Integrations Manager.
- Go to Settings.
- Deselect the Create orders as tax inclusive checkbox.
Note: When this setting is enabled, Marketplacer orders that are pushed to Maropost Commerce Cloud will be tax exclusive. If left deselected, all orders are marked as tax inclusive.
Duplication of GST is caused by Maropost Commerce Cloud's internal sales tax rules, which apply to all orders include those created through their API. If your Maropost Commerce Cloud settings specify pricing to be 'Tax Exclusive', Maropost Commerce Cloud will apply GST to all orders created like the example below.
