Brand mapping matches the brand names in your source data to the brands available on the marketplace. Use this guide to action unmapped brands, review mapped brands, and track the status of any brand requests you've submitted. Learn more about how brand mapping works.
What each tab is for
- Unmapped brands: Brands that couldn't be auto-matched and need your attention.
- Mapped brands: All confirmed matches, tagged by mapping source.
- Brands requested: Brand requests you've submitted, with their current status.
How to open brand mapping
- In the Seller Portal, go to Products > Product Mapping.
- Select the Brands tab.
Map a brand manually
Use this when the marketplace already carries the brand but it wasn't auto-matched.
- Open the Unmapped brands tab.
- Find the brand you want to map.
- Select Map to....
- In the Map brand window, review the suggested marketplace brands under Suggestions and select one, or search for a brand in the Map to field.
- Select Save mapping.
Note: Product Mapping saves this mapping and applies it automatically to future products under the same brand name.
Request a new brand
Use this when the brand doesn't exist on the marketplace yet and you want the operator to add it.
- Open the Unmapped brands tab.
- Find the brand you want to request.
- Select + Request.
- In the Request a new brand window, confirm the Brand Name.
- (Optional) Add a Note to operator to give context for the request.
- Select Submit Request.
Note: Once the operator approves the request, the brand is added to the marketplace and your unmapped row maps to it automatically. Track the status of your request in the Brands requested tab.
Skip a brand
Use this for brands that don't belong on the marketplace and don't need to be mapped or requested.
- Open the Unmapped brands tab.
- Find the brand you want to skip.
- Select the Skip icon on the brand row.
Note: Skipped brands remain visible when you filter by Skipped using the sub-filters.
Review and re-map a mapped brand
Use this to correct a mapping that doesn't look right.
- Open the Mapped brands tab.
- Review the Mapping source tag for each brand:
- Auto-mapped: matched automatically by Product Mapping on sync.
- Manually mapped: mapped by you using the Map to... flow.
- Approved request: mapped after an operator approved your brand request.
- Find the brand you want to change and select Re-map.
- In the Re-map brand modal, update the Map to field with the correct marketplace brand.
- Select Update mapping.
Track the status of a brand request
- Open the Brands requested tab.
- Review the Status for each request:
- Approved: The brand has been added to the marketplace. The Details column shows a link to the newly created brand. Your unmapped row has been mapped automatically.
- Rejected: The operator declined the request. You can submit a new request or map the brand manually to an existing brand.
- Restricted: The operator has blocked this brand from the marketplace. Future requests for this brand will be automatically declined.
- (Optional) Review any operator comment in the Note column.
Find brands faster

- Sub-filters: Use the pill filters below the search bar to narrow the list by mapping source or request status.
