Transformations are added from the Rules library in ADVERTS > Catalog Rules. Each transformation applies to a single attribute. To apply it to more than one attribute, such as Product Title and Product Specifications, add it separately for each attribute.
Before you begin
Confirm that Enable AI transformations to enrich product data is checked in Configuration > Product Settings > Advert Settings. If it is not enabled, transformations will not run even after you add them.
Add a transformation
- In the Operator Portal, go to ADVERTS > Catalog Rules.
- Select the Rules library tab.
- Find the transformation you want to add. Use the search field or filter by Attributes or Outcome to narrow the list.
- Click Add next to the transformation.

In the drawer, select the attribute you want to apply the transformation to: Product Title, Product Description, or Product Specifications.
Note: In the Rules library, an attribute is struck through if this transformation is already active on it. For Title Case and Sentence case, it's also struck through if the other one is active on that attribute. In the drawer, attributes where the transformation is already active appear under Already active and can't be selected - Click Continue.
- If a Target Max Characters field appears, enter your preferred character limit. This field is required for the Shorten text transformation and does not appear for others.
- Review the Preview Example to see how the transformation will change a sample text.
- Click Create rule.
The transformation appears in the My rules tab under the relevant attribute group and is enabled by default. It will run automatically when a new advert is created or when an existing product's title, description, or specifications change.
Edit or delete a transformation
Go to ADVERTS > Catalog Rules > My rules. In the Transformations table, find the rule you want to change:
- To pause a transformation without deleting it, use the toggle in its row to turn it off.
- To update the configuration, click the pencil icon.
- To remove the transformation permanently, click the delete icon.
