How do I navigate the dropdown?
Any category that contains sub-categories will display a > icon. Click categories with these icons to view their child categories. When you are viewing a sub-category, you can also also navigate back a level by clicking the bold option at the top of the dropdown with a < icon.
To assign the category to a product, click any category without a > icon - this can be any child category or the parent category you are currently viewing:
Here is an example where we navigate through the Entertainment category, along with some of it's child categories:
How do search for a category?
Simply click the Category dropdown and begin typing. The results will include both leaf categories (those without children) and parent categories (those with children), as well as the path within the overall tree. You can reset the search by deleting the text, or by clicking the x icon in the search bar.
