For products to appear on a site, they need to have at least one product image associated with them. There are specifications for product images to ensure they appear correctly. This topic explains how to add, replace and edit images.
If you use an integration to add product images via dropbox or other links, your sync settings may override any manual changes you make. See Integrations Manager: Image Sync Options.
Image requirements

Accepted formats:
- .png
- .gif
- .jpg
- .jpeg
- Sized less than 32MB
Refer to your marketplace operator to find out their preferred image aspect ratio, pixel width, and other requirements.
Add a product or variant image at the product level
- In the seller portal, go to Advert Management.
- Find the product you want to add an image for.
- In the Advert Summary section, select the pencil icon.
- Scroll down to the Product Images section.
- Drag and drop or select Upload Images to choose files.
- Drag the images that appear in the order you want.
- Select Update.
Add a product or variant image at the variant level
- In the seller portal, go to Advert Management.
- Find the product you want to add an image for.
- In the Variants section, select the pencil icon next to the variant.
- Scroll to the section where you can upload images.
- Drag and drop or select Upload Images to choose files.
- Drag the images that appear in the order you want.
- Select Save variant.
Delete a product image
In the images section of the product or variant, select the bin icon to delete an image.
Re-order product images
In the images section of the product or variant, drag and drop the images to change the order.
General image tips
- Images stand out better on a white or transparent background

Three images is good, but 4 or 5 images is better
Note: A product or advert can have up to 20 images. - Include photos from multiple angles and of different variants and colours
- Do not include pricing, contact information or watermarks on images
- Make sure there’s no advertising or other writing on the image. This may cause images to be rejected by Google.
Special information if you have a Marketplacer website
If you sell into a marketplace that uses a Marketplacer website, they will set how they want images to look on the site and provide you with a guide to preferred image requirements.
