In this article we are going to cover the steps needed to remove a seller from your Marketplace, either temporarily (also commonly called Holiday Mode) or permanently if the seller has decided to no longer trade on the platform.
Permanently turning an account offline
- Go to SELLERS > Manage Sellers in the Admin Operator portal.
- Find the seller and click on the edit icon next to the account name.
- Under Subscription Information, check the Cancelled Account box.
Note: Ticking this box will turn the account offline after the next subscription payment cycle (if applicable) noted under Paid Until. - If you want to turn off the account immediately, check the Force Account Offline box.
- If the seller pays a subscription payment, as an extra precaution change the subscription cost to $0.
- Change the status of the account to Prospective located under Subscription Details. Make sure the seller has any reporting they need from their account before you do this step.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Update Account.
Permanently turning an MConnect seller account offline
If the seller is connected via MConnect you will need to follow additional steps once they have stopped trading on the Marketplace.
Turn an M-Connect account offline in Seller portal 2.0:
- Log into the seller's account.
- Go to Extensions > MConnect from the left nav bar.
- Select Go to MConnect at the bottom.
- In the MConnect page, select Settings on the left side menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Your Account. This disconnects the Integration between Marketplacer and the sellers API.
Temporarily turning an account offline
A seller on your Marketplace may need to temporarily suspend trade. It is common for a seller to ask to be turned on to 'Holiday Mode' if they are taking time off (ie. during the Christmas/New Year period) and do not have a team to facilitate orders and customer inquiries during this time.
- Go to Sellers > Manage Sellers in the administration portal.
- Find the seller and click on the edit icon next to the account name.
- Under Subscription Information, check the Force Account Offline box.
- If you charge a monthly subscription payment, you may come to an agreement to suspend the charge during their downtime. If so, change the monthly billing amount to $0.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Update Account.
Temporarily turning an MConnect seller account offline
If the seller is connected via MConnect you will need to follow one more additional step.
Temporarily turn an MConnect seller account offline in Seller portal 2.0:

- In the MConnect page, select Settings on the left side menu.
- Uncheck the Enable scheduled imports box.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Update settings.
