In this article we are going to cover the steps needed to remove a seller from your Marketplace, either temporarily (also commonly called Holiday Mode) or permanently if the seller has decided to no longer trade on the platform.
Permanently turning an account offline
- Go to Members > Manage Sellers in the Admin portal.
- Find the seller and click on the edit icon next to the account name.
- Under Subscription Information, check the Cancelled Account box.
Note: Ticking this box will turn the account offline after the next subscription payment cycle (if applicable) noted under Paid Until. - If you want to turn off the account immediately, check the Force Account Offline box.
- If the seller pays a subscription payment, as an extra precaution change the subscription cost to $0.
- Change the status of the account to Prospective located under Subscription Details. Make sure the seller has any reporting they need from their account before you do this step.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Update Account.
Permanently turning an M-Connect seller account offline
If the seller is connected via M-Connect you will need to follow additional steps once they have stopped trading on the Marketplace.

Temporarily turning an account offline
A seller on your Marketplace may need to temporarily suspend trade. It is common for a seller to ask to be turned on to 'Holiday Mode' if they are taking time off (ie. during the Christmas/New Year period) and do not have a team to facilitate orders and customer inquiries during this time.
- Go to Members > Manage Sellers in the administration portal.
- Find the seller and click on the edit icon next to the account name.
- Under Subscription Information, check the Force Account Offline box.
- If you charge a monthly subscription payment, you may come to an agreement to suspend the charge during their downtime. If so, change the monthly billing amount to $0.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Update Account.
