If you need to change the category or variants for a product, you can do this by editing the product advert.
You might need to do this for the following reasons:
- You add or edit products in bulk, and the category or variant was not assigned
- You use an integration to add products and the category or variant is not assigned
- The marketplace operator changes the product category structure.
Note: if you use an API or bulk product upload, when you sync or import again, the same error may occur. In this case, you will also need to do the product mapping task.
How to edit product details
- Go to Products > Manage products.
- Scroll the list or select Show Filters to find the product you want to view.
- Select View Product to open the product details.
- To modify the product information, make any required changes on the Information tab.
- If required, select the Details, Pricing and/or Media tabs and make any required changes.
- Select Save Changes.
How to add a variant
- Go to Products > Manage products.
- Scroll the list or select Show Filters to find the product you want to view.
- Select View Product to open the product details.
- Select the Variants tab to view variants.
- Select Create New Variant. The Create New Variant window opens.
- Complete all the variant details and select Save Variant. The Manage Products window displays, with the Variants tab active.
- Select Save Changes to add the new variant.
