- Click Remove
.
Note: If you only have one authenticator, you may need recovery codes enabled before you can delete it.
How to disable MFA
If MFA is enabled for your account but not required by your operator, you can turn it off as long as you have at least one authenticator enrolled.
- In the Multi-Factor Authentication section, click the three-dot menu.
- Select Disable MFA.
- Confirm your choice.
- MFA will be disabled for your account.
- You can re-enable MFA at any time by setting up an authenticator again.
How to reset recovery codes
If you lose access to your authenticator, you can use recovery codes to log in. You can generate new codes at any time.
- In the Multi-Factor Authentication section, click Reset recovery codes.
- A new set of 10 codes will be generated and sent to your registered email.
- Previous unused codes will be invalidated.
Things to remember
- You can enroll up to 20 authenticators per user.
- Authenticators can be renamed for easy identification.
- MFA frequency (how often you’re asked for a code) is set by your marketplace operator.
- If MFA is optional and you click Maybe later during enrollment, you can continue logging in without MFA. You’ll be prompted again after one week (seven days), unless your operator has set a different interval.
