As a seller, you may have many locations where you hold product inventory, including warehouses or additional retail locations. The customer, the marketplace, and particularly your logistics partner need to know where goods are being shipped from.
You can add multiple shipment addresses, which can be selected when you create a shipment within the Marketplacer platform.
You can create shipment addresses via the seller portal or the GraphQL API.
You can also create and update shipments using the GraphQL API. These fields are optional so should not impact any existing CSV file imports.
Shipment addresses also appear in the order history csv file when it is downloaded.
Which seller portal am I using?
Two versions of the seller portal exist, differing in appearance and menu structure. The icon in the top right-hand corner of your seller portal will tell you which instructions you need:

Configure shipping addresses
Seller portal 2.0
- Log in to seller portal 2.0.
- Go to Shipping > Shipment Addresses in the left hand menu.
- Type in the new shipment address address.
- You can select the address from the auto suggested list or choose use manual address entry to manually enter the address.
- Select Create shipment address.
You can reorder the shipment address list by dragging and dropping an address up or down the list. This is the order in which the addresses will appear in the dropdown field when you dispatch an order.
Legacy seller portal
- Log in to the legacy seller portal.
- Go to Shipping > Shipment Addresses in the left hand menu.
- You can select the address from the auto suggested list or choose Manual Entry to manually enter the address.
- Select Create.
You can reorder the list by using the up and down buttons next to the addresses. This is the order in which the addresses will appear in the dropdown field when you dispatch an order.
Set a shipment address on dispatch
Once shipment addresses have been added, they are available for use when you create a shipment to dispatch products.
Seller portal 2.0
- Log in to seller portal 2.0.
- To view the outstanding orders do one of the following
- Select the Outstanding Orders notification on the home page.
- Go to Orders > Outstanding; Show filters; Select Outstanding.
- Find the order that you are looking to dispatch products for and select View Order.
- Enable carrier selection using the checkbox.
- Select the delivery method (carrier) and enter the Shipment tracking number, then select the relevant shipment address from Fulfil from.
- Review the quantity and dates.
- Select Fulfil Item.
Legacy seller portal
- Log in to the legacy seller portal.
- Go to Orders > Outstanding.
- Find the order that you are looking to dispatch products for.
- Add the tracking carrier and tracking ID, then select the relevant shipment address from the drop down list.
- Add any other details and select dispatch.
