Which Shopify products are available to sync into Marketplacer depends on your Product source setting in MConnect. This article explains how each option affects sales channel requirements. Configure the setting in the MConnect Settings page or during initial setup in the account wizard.
Online store (default)
When Product source is set to Online store, only products assigned to the Shopify Online Store sales channel are eligible for sync to Marketplacer. If a product is not assigned to this channel, it will not appear in Marketplacer regardless of other settings.
In most cases, this default option is all you need. If your Shopify catalog is managed primarily through the Online Store, no change is required.
Assigning products to the sales channel with the name of the private app created during integration setup will not have any effect. Products must be assigned to the Online Store sales channel specifically.
All active products
When Product source is set to All active products, every active product in your Shopify catalog is eligible for sync, regardless of which sales channel it's published to. This is useful if you sell through Point of Sale, B2B, custom apps, or other channels that don't go through the Online Store.
A product tag filter is required when using this option. Only products carrying one of your configured tags will be synced.
