You can bring products from your Shopify store directly into Marketplacer. This requires setting up a connection so that product details and other relevant data like orders and shipping information can flow smoothly between Marketplacer and Shopify.
Important points to remember:
- This process is for Shopify sellers who want to push their product information to Marketplacer. It's not for Marketplacer users who have Shopify Plus as their main e-commerce platform.
- Only products (also known as "adverts") that are part of your Shopify Online Store sales channel will be imported and kept updated.
- Orders (invoices) generated for these imported products will sync back to Shopify.
- Any products you add manually to Marketplacer, or bring in through other methods, won't be included in this sync, even if their barcode or SKU matches a Shopify product.
To set up and use the integration, see these KB articles:
- Shopify integration for sellers: Connect and set up.
- Shopify integration for sellers: Review and publish products (adverts).
- Shopify integration for sellers: Review settings.
In regular operation, new and changed products (adverts) are imported automatically based on the synchronization frequency (see below). Alternatively, you can start the product import manually, see Shopify integration for sellers: Manual product import for detailed instructions. The products may need to be vetted and approved before they become available to shoppers.
The status of the imports must be checked as part of daily operations for a marketplace. See Shopify integration for sellers: Check import status.
