A shipping rule links one or more shipping zones, shipping profiles, and shipping rates.
Before creating shipping rules, you must first define the shipping zones, shipping profiles, and shipping rates.
As the marketplace operator, you need to understand the business logic that you have implemented for the interpretation of shipping rules. This will determine the shipping rules that you need to define.
Create a shipping rule
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to CONFIGURATION > Shipping Settings > Shipping Rules.
- Select + New shipping rule. The New Shipping Rule panel opens.
- Enter the Shipping rule name.
- Optionally, provide a Shipping rule description.
- Select the Shipping rule zones.
- Select the Shipping rule Profiles.
- Select the Shipping rule rates.
- Configure custom fields if applicable.
- Optionally, you can enter additional details and information.
- Click Create shipping rule.
Edit a shipping rule
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to Configuration > Shipping Settings > Shipping Rules.
- Select edit next to the relevant rule. The Update Shipping Rule panel opens.
- Make the required modification.
- Click Update Shipping rules.
Delete a shipping rule
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to Configuration > Shipping Settings > Shipping Rules.
- Select delete next to the relevant rule.
- Select Delete from the confirmation message pop-up to confirm.
