A Shipping profile is assigned to a product at the variant level. The profile links the variant to the applicable shipping rates through the shipping rules.
As the marketplace operator, you must understand the business logic you have implemented for interpreting the shipping rules. This will determine the required shipping profiles.
Create a shipping profile
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to CONFIGURATION > Shipping Settings > Shipping Profiles.
- Click + New shipping profile. The Create Shipping Profile panel displays.
- Enter a Shipping profile name.
- Optionally, provide a Shipping profile description.
- Click Create shipping profile.
Edit a shipping profile
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to CONFIGURATION > Shipping Settings > Shipping Profiles.
- Click edit next to the shipping profile you want to update. The Update Shipping Profile panel displays.
- Modify the settings as required.
- Select Update shipping profile.
Delete a shipping profile
Note: You can only delete a shipping profile if it is not being used in a shipping rule.
- Login to the operator portal.
- Go to CONFIGURATION > Shipping Settings > Shipping Profiles.
- Click Delete next to the relevant profile.
- Select Delete from the confirmation message pop-up to confirm.
