An Invoice has failed to upload from your Marketplace to the seller's E-Commerce solution.
This email is notifying you that an order (invoice) has failed to be pushed from your Marketplace to Shopify. This means that the order will not have been pushed into the seller's Shopify store, and the stock levels will not have adjusted accordingly.
You can view this error in more detail, by logging into the seller portal > API & Integrations > Invoices.
The error message which has been sent to us, from Shopify is 403 - Invalid API key or password.
According to the Shopify API documentation, Shopify returns a 403 Forbidden
status code when the access token is valid but the user does not have access. Likely, the seller has not configured their permission settings correctly.
To troubleshoot
- Ask the seller for a screenshot of their API settings and cross-referencing it against the following article.
- When reviewing the seller's permission settings check that the seller has enabled read/write access to their Shopify orders.
