An Invoice has failed to upload from your Marketplace to the seller's e-commerce solution.
This email notifies you that an order (invoice) failed to be pushed from your Marketplace to the seller's WooCommerce store. As a result, inventory is updated in the seller's WooCommerce store. Additionally, the seller cannot dispatch the order through their e-commerce solution.
How to view invoices in the Seller portal
- Sign in to the Seller portal 2.0.
- Select Extensions > MConnect.
- Click Go to MConnect.
- In MConnect, click Invoices.
The error message you can receive from Woo-Commerce is WooCommerce: 401 - Unauthorized request. According to the WooCommerce API documentation, this is an authentication or permission error, for example, incorrect API keys.
Note: This user needs to have admin access. Ensure that the associated user account for this API key is a site administrator with full privileges to manage the WooCommerce site.
To troubleshoot
Confirm if the seller performed these actions:
- Ask if the seller configured the API integration exactly as directed in this article.
- The permission for this application is required to be set to Read and Write access. Confirm with the seller if this is enabled when the integration is set up.
- Ensure that the associated user account for this API key is a site administrator with full privileges to manage the WooCommerce site.
- Often with WooCommerce, the seller might have some plugins that can affect the API integration. Request the seller to provide a list of the plugins connected to their WooCommerce or WordPress site
