This article lists the steps required to manually dispatch a large number of orders.
Download, edit, and upload the CSV or XLSX file
- In the Seller Portal, go to Orders > Bulk Dispatch.
- Download a list of items awaiting dispatch as a CSV or XLSX file.
- Edit the spreadsheet to add dispatch details, including quantity being shipped, dispatch date, tracking number, tracking carrier, and shipping note if required.
Note: that dispatch dates must be the same day or in the past. - Remove any items you are not dispatching.
- Upload the spreadsheet to dispatch the updated items by clicking on the Upload spreadsheet button.
- Go to Imports & Exports to check the upload status for Import - shipments from spreadsheet.
Making tracking information mandatory for a Seller account
Without tracking details, customers can't monitor their deliveries, leading to increased customer service requests for Marketplace operators. By default, the "Tracking number" and "Tracking carrier" fields in the bulk dispatch CSV are optional, but operators can require these fields on a per-Seller basis.
There are two ways to require tracking information for a Seller: through Seller account settings or by updating the Seller CSV file.
Make tracking info mandatory via Seller account settings
- Go to Members > Manage Sellers in the operator portal.
- Click the edit icon next to the Seller’s name.
- Scroll to Account Features.
- Enable the Tracking information required for bulk dispatch setting.
Make tracking info mandatory via CSV
- Go to Members > Manage Sellers in the operator portal.
- Download the Seller CSV file.
- Update the Tracking information required for bulk dispatch column to Yes for the desired Sellers.
- Re-upload via the Import Sellers button.
