Bulk Advert Upload: "Taxon/Brand must be filled in" error

When uploading ads to the Marketplacer platform using the 'Bulk advert upload' tool, you may receive errors under specific circumstances.

The following are common errors:

• "advert_errors"=>["Taxon must be filled in"]}

• "advert_errors"=>["Brand must be filled in"]}

First, check to confirm that the taxon/brand column contains a valid taxon/brand - this needs to match what is in your marketplace categorization settings perfectly. If you notice that there are unusual characters in these fields simply export and import the adverts in Excel format using the following steps:

1. Navigate to Sellers > Manage Sellers > [name of retailer] > Log into seller portal (use this guide if you are not accessing the seller portal via Admin).
2. Navigate to Products > Bulk Upload Products.
   
3. Click Generate to download your adverts or template.
4. Once downloaded you can edit the file in Excel. Make sure to save and upload the file in the default XLSX format.
5. Afterward, you can upload the file to the same page it was exported. In the "Upload a spreadsheet" section.
